These large cranes were designed to work on a 22 container wide vessel!
Port of Miami Crane Management, Inc. has been responsible for the maintenance and management of the gantry cranes at the Port since 2002.
They also manage and maintain the other container handling equipment.
The company boasts that there cranes are up and running 99.62 percent of the time, which is an extraordinary uptime in the industry.

I love looking at the port as I drive over the MacArthur causeway! It is very scenic with all those HUGE cruise ships and cranes.
I guess I never really thought about what goes into moving overseas. There is so much work that goes into international moves!
The port of Miami is different from other ports because you can see the cruise ships AND the ships carrying containers. It is fun to sit at South Pointe Park in Miami Beach and see all the ships go by. I have never seen something as big as the ships carrying containers. The size of the ships, and the containers, are massive!
After visiting Intlmove, you can drive over to see the container ships at the port of Miami. It is great to be able to see another step in the international moving process. Intlmove has its headquarters located very close to the port of miami. Fort Lauderdale port is also pretty close to Intlmove.
How many ports are there in florida? does intlmove use all of these ports? I wonder how many ports there are around the world…. I was in miami visiting the intlmove warehouse and it was very well organized. Everyone there was so great. Later i went to see the port of miami… the ships with containers were so amazing to see!
