Ok…I am guilty. I wanted an on-site estimator because it was “more professional”, “complete”, and “more accurate”. The guy that showed up spent 15 minutes walking around my house as I pointed out everything I wanted to bring. When he finished, he handed me some literature and then had the b**** to start trying to close the sale in my own house before I even had a quote. Talk about HIGH PRESSURE TACTICS. About two weeks later, I had reconsidered what I wanted to bring and asked the estimator to come out again. Suddenly this company that was all too eager to come out the first time had a “very full schedule” and would try to fit me in for a second estimate. I am still waiting. Frankly, I was becoming very PO’ed with the process. It was about this time I was given your company’s name by a co-worker who you had moved to London. I went to your website and found your calculator. I found it easy to use and was able to fill it out at my leisure…and it did not have “scheduling conflicts” when I wanted to make adjustments on it. Overall, a much more peaceful and pleasurable experience. Personally, I think the on-site estimator was OVER-RATED!
I’m with you Alan! I had an on-site estimator come to my house and when I made changes it was such a hassle… I didn’t want to take any more time off of work to have someone come over and redo the on-site estimate. The online calculator was so much easier!

this was such a great tool… I realized that I forgot all the stuff in my garage, so I just had to adjust the volume on the online calculator rather than calling to have someone come back to my house. It made the process easy.

Like all the comments above, I prefer the online estimator. Scheduling three people to come to your home is a little too much. Also, I didn’t want three different people taking inventory of everything I owned. I am sure that most people are professional, but you just never know. IntlMOVE has it right…. do everything online.
